Chanelle Manus
Chief of Staff
Chanelle Manus has joined Detroit Employment Solutions Corporation (DESC) as Chief of Staff. At DESC, she provides strategic counsel to DESC’s President and facilitates the development and implementation of strategic initiatives in collaboration with other members of the Executive Leadership Team. She is a licensed attorney in the State of Michigan. Prior to joining DESC, she worked in the City of Detroit’s Human Resources Department. Chanelle has strong workforce development experience, having previously served as both a WIOA In-School Youth provider and a Board Governance expert. She has a variety of other professional experience, including work as an Associate Attorney for a boutique law firm.
Chanelle earned her Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Wayne State University and her Juris Doctor from Western Michigan University-Cooley Law School. In her spare time, she mentors high school seniors through the Midnight Golf Program.
